Hello! Welcome to my first blog post on the new website, well overdue an update here.

First things first, thank you all so much for the amazing support through an odd year of lockdowns and general uncertainty, I appreciate every one of my customers more than I can ever express.

In related news, as you may know my fiancé came on board with the business last year after losing his job due to COVID, well, he now has his job back as the company managed to survive and re-open and are busier than ever! Since Midnight Rose has always very much been my passion and my baby he’s happier being able to do his own thing again. Over the next few months i’ll be switching back to a sole trader business rather than a private limited company, aside from that nothing will change with the way things are run. I have some big plans underway right now and things going on behind the scenes to keep on making the business bigger and better! So it’s all very exciting and well worth the struggles over the past year.

I put some new systems in place recently that meant I can get orders out faster, everything has been leaving us pretty much the same working day when the order comes in before 3pm, for the past month i’ve been chasing Royal Mail to add Tracked 24/48 postage options to my business account, the person dealing with it is apparently on annual leave until the 28th of this month, fingers crossed when they’re back they will finally sort this out, i’ll then be switching completely to the Tracked postage options instead of signed for. This will give you full control over your parcel deliveries, with the ability to reschedule a delivery when it’s on route, select an option to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place if you won’t be in, etc.

Some products are currently selling out the same day I restock them, which is amazing – thank you! If you can’t see an advertised product on the website, they get auto-hidden when sold out, if you sign up to my newsletter I send out restock notifications when these popular products are available again so you don’t miss them. I try to place orders with my main suppliers weekly to keep things regularly restocked, if you can’t find something you’re looking for you can always pop me an email and I can let you know when they’re due back in.
