- Large Baphomet statue
- Cast in solid resin
- Hand-painted
- 90cm tall
- Weight approx. 15KG
Sitting with legs crossed on top of a globe representing the world, Baphomet symbolises the sum of the universe.
This horned deity’s legs end in cloven hooves, their right arm is raised up in the act of blessing with ‘SOLVE’ written on their forearm. The left arm stretches downwards in an inviting manner and bears the word ‘COAGULA’. “Solve et Coagula” means to break something down before reforming into something new. A symbol of the staff of Asclepius is engraved on their abdomen; In Greek mythology, the Staff of Aesculapius is a serpent-entwined rod wielded by the Greek god Asclepius, a deity associated with healing and medicine.
The imposing deity’s magnificent horns protrude from the top of it’s head, with a lit candle in the centre.
It’s black angelic wings are stretched out behind it’s back.
The statue is set on a large base bearing a Pentagram.
While often mistaken as a negative form, the symbol of Baphomet represents balance, diversity and acceptance.
This magnificent statue has been brought to life by Nemesis Now.
